Heather McDonald is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She is best known for her appearances on the E! series Chelsea Lately. She is one of the eight writers on the show and often participates in sketches and segments. McDonald also appears in the show's spin-off, After Lately.

McDonald attended the University of Southern California, where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
She started writing for Keenan Ivory Wayans in the late 1990s. In 2001 and 2002, she was a writer and performer for MTV's Lyricist Lounge.
In June 2010, Heather McDonald released her first book, "You'll Never Blue Ball in This Town Again: One Woman's Painfully Funny Quest to Give It Up," which made The New York Times Best-Seller List.[2] In the future, McDonald desires to compete on the ABC reality show Dancing with the Stars.
